Craig Hershberger

Driven by the “Pulse” from an early age, I have been in bands performing a variety of songs and always with the objective of musically reaching everyone in the audience at some point during the performance. Although style and showmanship is extremely important to the presentation, I have always believed that technical ability and precise timing is what makes a band stand out as a class act.
Over the years it has been my pleasure to play with a number of very talented musicians of the same mindset and therefore the performance of every band I have been associated with was well received and respected for the sound and delivery of the music we played.
At an early age I was formally trained in reading drum charts and “schooled” in the more relaxed and open situations of learning by ear. Both the formal and informal lessons have served me well and I now pass on this knowledge by teaching students. In addition, I am able to competently and confidently learn drum parts to songs and sit in sessions and rehearsals that demand quick study.
My passion for music and drumming is evident, both, in the way I play, and in the enthusiasm I demonstrate when discussing music or watching other musicians perform.
I would like to thank all the musicians I have played with throughout my musical career. Each one has been valuable to my development as a drummer. I never forget that each and every person I played with contributed something to my drumming abilities, the way I approach performing, and ultimately my success as a musician.
I would also like to thank all the friends and family who have faithfully supported me and the bands in which I have played over the years, for they have enriched my drumming experience even that much more. Thank You.
Keep It Steady and with Conviction!
